We are currently looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our Development Team. Kernow Capital Corporation a.k.a. boomerang carnets, is a leader in ATA Carnets, customs guarantees, surety bonding and marine insurance. We are expanding within our specialized niche and want new people and ideas to be a part of our expansion into new technologies.
As the Jr. Web Developer, you will:
- Program web applications and systems that support Users’ needs.
- Create applications, data structures and related queries that interface with accounting and other ERP systems.
- Support state-of-the-art customer portals and production tools.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance & security.
Your professional growth opportunities, experience and knowledge will be many and varied including:
- ASP.Net
- Network technologies
- Web systems
- Data architecture development
- Microsoft Dynamics and Related Microsoft technologies.
Core Requirements (Internship experience accepted.)
- 1-2 years Information Systems experience including ASP.NET, VB.NET, HTML on Microsoft platforms.
- VB.NET Experience.
- SQL Server 2005 Development Experience (T-SQL, SSIS).
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.
- Minimum Associates Degree in Computer Science.
Extra Consideration:
- BS Degree, Information Technology-related.
- Formal Training in VB technology.
- LAN IP configuration and maintenance in multi-subnet environment (DNS, DHCP, WINS).
- Familiarity with 3rd party tools i.e. Telerik & Crystal Reports.
- Front end development tools: CSS, Browser compatibility.
- Experience with SQL Server Enterprise Manager/Query Analyzer.

Annual salary is $40,000 - $48,000 depending upon experience. A $250 signing bonus is available.
Relocation services or relocation compensation are not available. Independent contractors are not being considered for this position. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
