The new year marks the end of the first quarter of the 21st century.  As we welcome 2025, we take a brief look back at some of the milestones of 2024 to see where we have been as we move into the new year for continued growth in the global arena.
 

2024 Highlights

Expanding the ATA Carnet Network | Three new countries joined the global ATA Carnet system—The Republic of the Philippines, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Peru—making it easier than ever to facilitate the temporary admission of goods for international trade and business.  The reaction to this news has been tremendous.  We have already assisted customers with ATA Carnets for these three new ATA Carnet countries across diverse industries, including: Network News & Media, Robotics, Surgical Supplies, Eyewear, Film and Television Production, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS/UAV), Education, Engineering, Medical/Nursing Services, Aerospace Technology, Wildlife Photography, Motorsports/Racing, Music Touring, and more.

Partnering With ITN for Film on ATA Carnet Advantages | Boomerang carnets UK collaborated with ITN Business producing a film as part of the ITN Business programme Transforming Logistics: Precision and Purpose.  Our film focuses on the advantages of ATA Carnets for temporary exports and features an esteemed longstanding customer whose specialty is the transport of supercars.  View the film here: ATA Carnet-Transforming Logistics: Precision and Purpose  

Supporting Wildlife Filmmaking | For the first time, we sponsored the 2024 Wildscreen Festival in the UK, a biennial event that supports an international membership of wildlife filmmakers, photographers, and conservationists from around the world who can utilize the built-in benefits of ATA Carnets for the betterment of our world. 

Celebrating 20 Years with the U.S. Boomerang Team | Boomerang carnets proudly marked our 20^th year supporting the U.S. Boomerang Team with an honored title sponsorship, attending the rigorous and exciting championship competitions in Texas and Colorado.  Moira Wilson, Director, Marketing and Brand Development, reflected, “It seems like yesterday.”  First place in the individual category went to Logan Broadbent from the U.S. team making him the #1 boomerang thrower in the world!

Since the beginning, our mission has been simple: prioritizing exceptional customer service.  This commitment has built our reputation and remains at the core of what we do.  In today’s economic climate, the value of saving money resonates more than ever, and we are proud that our services continue to support U.S. and U.K. exporters in achieving this.

2025 marks an exciting milestone as we enter our eleventh year in the U.K., as the only carnet provider operating in two countries.  Additionally, we remain the sole provider of Carnet de Passages en Douane (CPDs) in the U.S. and Canada, extending our expertise and servicing customers even further.

Looking ahead, the digital eATA Carnet is poised to streamline international trade and customs clearance faster than ever.  While the paper ATA Carnet already expedites border crossings, the eATA Carnet will enhance this efficiency, making the ATA Carnet process even more beneficial than it already is for temporary exports.
