Boomerang carnets® UK, in partnership with ITN Business, is excited to announce the premiere of our short film as part of the ITN Business program, Transforming Logistics: Precision and Purpose.  The program, featuring key industry and news-style reports along with sponsored editorial profiles, includes our film on the ATA Carnet-Boomerang Benefit and how it supports businesses in global trade.  The program and film made its debut at the British International Freight Forwarders Association (BIFA) Business Leaders Forum on October 10th.

A few months ago, ITN Business approached us with the exciting opportunity to create a profile film for the program aimed at the event’s webcast audience, and we eagerly agreed.  At boomerang carnets UK, we are dedicated to demonstrating the critical role ATA Carnets play in simplifying temporary exports.  ATA Carnets not only save customers substantial amounts on import duties and taxes, but also open doors to new international markets, enhancing business competitiveness and growth.
 

In Focus: The ATA Carnet in Action

The film, introduced by ITN presenter Louise Minchin, opens with a racing car being loaded onto a transport truck, bound for testing at racetracks across Europe.  Reporter Warren Nettleford narrates the story, highlighting how ATA Carnets simplify the temporary importation of goods.

Monika Jadeszko, explains in the film: “The ATA Carnet, also known as a ‘Merchandise Passport,’ is a unified international customs document that allows businesses to temporarily import goods without paying import duties or taxes.”

Boomerang carnets UK is proud to have partnered with Bespoke Handling, a leader in automotive and motorsport logistics, and valued client.  Bespoke Handling generously provided their Pease Pottage headquarters as the filming location, with a dynamic backdrop featuring luxury vehicles and race cars.

The ATA Carnet is an internationally accepted customs document for temporarily exported merchandise or goods.  It allows cross border movement of those goods import-duty and -tax free into 87+ carnet countries and territories for up to 12 months.  The ATA Carnet is known as the  Merchandise Passport for boomerang freight®.  At the end of the 12 months, all the items listed on the Carnet return to the country of origin, thus the term boomerang freight.
