This prime location facilitates quick and easy access to ATA Carnets, particularly for clients requiring expedited, same-day service.
In addition, the new distribution center is one hour from Washington Dulles International Airport, offering convenience for carnet customers to pick up their document before air travel and especially crucial for customers with time-sensitive or last-minute travel arrangements. The new D.C. distribution center is one of twenty-two centers located throughout the U.S. and U.K.
An ATA Carnet is an internationally accepted customs document used for boomerang freight®. By presenting an ATA Carnet to foreign customs, your temporarily exported merchandise or equipment passes import-duty and -tax free into 90+ carnet countries and territories for up to 12 months.
At the end of the year, all the items listed on the carnet return to the U.S., thus the term boomerang freight.
