U.S. Boomerang Team Captures Top Team Title at 2026 World Boomerang Championships

August 7, 2026

Cary, IL—The U.S. Boomerang Team claimed the Overall first-place Team prize at the 2026 World Boomerang Championships, bringing home the prestigious "Uncle Toby" perpetual trophy after two days of intense competition, ending Brazil's reign as Team Champion following their 2024 title win.

The 2026 World Boomerang Championships were held in Bandung, Indonesia, on the island of Java at Lanud Sulaiman Air Force Base, from July 26 through August 5, 2026. Teams from Australia, Brazil, England, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, the United States, and International Teams competed in the event.

The event hosted a total of 86 athletes competing across three main categories: Team Events, Individual Events, and the Aesthetics Category.
