Honoring Customs Officials and Agencies Worldwide for their Role in Maintaining Border Security

January 26^th is globally recognized as International Customs Day (ICD)*. ICD recognizes the role of customs officials and agencies in maintaining border security.  This year the World Customs Organization dedicates ICD to promoting the digitalization of Customs processes under the slogan “Digital Customs: Progressive Engagement.”

Today, the KCC Directors express their appreciation, not only for the role of Customs in border security but, for the economic opportunity provided by Customs via customs guarantees. For many decades countless numbers of hard-working employees and their families have benefited from the opportunity provided by Customs and delivered by KCC.
