Celebrating 10 Years of CPD Issuance in the U.S. and Canada

In 2015, boomerang carnets was honored to be appointed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) as the official issuing association for the Carnet de Passages en Douane (CPD) in the United States and Canada.  The CPD is an international customs document that facilitates the temporary admission of road motor vehicles across borders, allowing entry without the payment of import duty and tax in countries where it is required, also known as the “Vehicle Passport”.  

This addition to our services began with the first CPD applications processed on March 1, 2016, marking a significant milestone in expanding access to this essential document for international vehicle travel.  In 2025, we celebrated a decade in operation and servicing the needs of travelers and exporters.  This year, in 2026, we celebrate a decade since our first CPD applications were processed.
