Macao to Begin Accepting ATA Carnets

 

MACAO TO BEGIN ACCEPTING ATA CARNETS

November 1, 2010

United States Council for International Business announced on September 21, 2010 that Macao will join the ATA Carnet system, as the 68th member, and will begin accepting carnets effective November 1, 2010.

Macao will accept ATA Carnets for the intended uses of:

  • Exhibitions and Fairs
  • Professional Equipment
  • Commercial Samples

Carnets ARE accepted for transit operations and unaccompanied goods.

Macao will NOT Accept ATA Carnets for:

  • Postal Traffic

All Customs offices and stations in Macao are authorized to accept and process ATA Carnets.
