"ATA Carnet" Makes Export.gov's Top 50 List

Happy New Year and Best Wishes for a Prosperous and Successful 2012!

Reflecting on U.S. export activity in 2011, the U.S. Commercial Service created a Top 50 list for the year. Highlighting the increased visibility of the ATA Carnet export document, the search term "ATA Carnet" made the Top 50 Search Phrases of the Year 2011 for the U.S. Commercial Service Export.gov website. ATA Carnet ranked 46 on the list of 50 just above Export Business Plan and well under #1, Safe Harbor.

To be honest, we were surprised the term ATA Carnet ranked at all given how often we have to explain what it is at trade shows and industry events. Alternately, there are over 3000 Google searches a month (in the U.S.) for the terms "carnet" and "ata carnet" so maybe awareness and need is growing.
