Customers Questions: CIB vs. boomerang freight solutions

Our Carnet Specialists have received an increased number of inquiries about our logo and company name since the new website was launched on April 1st. So here's the scoop: Corporation for International Business is our company name. Boomerang Freight® Solutions is the ATA Carnet brand. Thus boomerang freight® solutions by Corporation for International Business is how we often identify ourselves. (This is like Charmin^® being a brand of Proctor and Gamble and we really hope ATA Carnets become as relevant to you as Charmin^® is to so many.)

Several years ago we service marked boomerang freight® for the value of the visual image: the path of a soaring boomerang. It parallels the route of carnet goods which have to return to their country of origination. It is also the same word in all languages - it has no translation - so it is recognized worldwide. Along with this branding campaign we became sponsors of the U.S. Boomerang Team, the current World Champions. Now visitors to our new website are seeing the boomerang theme in our redesigned website.

Look for our next effort to promote carnet use coming soon. It's time for the noun carnet to morph into the verb "carnet." Then we'll all "Just Carnet It!"
