Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) Goes Abroad With a Boomerang Carnet!

From an article by Scott Cantrell in the Dallas Morning News May 23, 2024: “Dallas Symphony readies for first European tour since 2013.  The orchestra will perform in cities across the continent over two weeks in June.”  DSO violist David Sywak, who was an integral part of the tour planning process, shares thoughts on the value of international touring.

“…I like the idea of touring.  I think the orchestra sounds its best when we’re doing this.  Besides being galvanizing for the players, it’s an attraction for hiring the best musicians and raising the profile of the orchestra.  When a city has an orchestra that can travel around and get great reviews, it’s raising the profile of the orchestra in the hometown as well.  I think it’s a necessary part of trying to be a major orchestra.”

Use boomerang carnets when you plan your international tour.
