U.A.E.: Special Conditions No Longer Apply
The United Arab Emirates began accepting ATA Carnets for Exhibitions and Fairs in 2011 and required pre-notification initially. This Advisory updates that Special Condition as it no longer applies.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR U.A.E. NO LONGER APPLY
Effective immediately, National Guaranteeing Organizations are no longer requested to notify the Dubai Chamber of Commerce when a Carnet is issued for the U.A.E.

Acceptable goods on a carnet into U.A.E. include goods traveling for trade shows, meetings or other similar events. The U.A.E. became the 69th country to join the ATA Carnet system on April 1st, 2011.
