ATA Carnets are Essential to International Orchestra Tours

Boomerang carnets® sponsored the League of American Orchestras’ (LOAO) 78^th National Conference held this year June 14-16 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and hosted by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.  The 2023 National Conference was the most attended conference ever for the League with a record-breaking number of registrants.  We were thrilled to be a part of it.  Representing Boomerang were Monika Jadeszko, Vice President-Global Carnet Operations, and Marge Walsh, Carnet Specialist.  Connecting with colleagues and customers was especially meaningful, many of whom they had not seen in person since attending the 2019 League conference together.  Reaching out to speak about international tours was shared with one of Boomerang’s longstanding strategic partners, SOS Global, who also shared our booth.

“Bridges to the Future” was the theme for this year, aptly held in Pittsburgh known as the “City of Bridges.”  This year’s conference included speakers and panel discussions addressing “a sustainable future for orchestras on creativity, innovation, community, and the power of music.”  We thank all who stopped by the Boomerang booth to speak with us about their international touring plans.
