Tracking your carnet (or carnets) is one of the most important actions you can take to prevent claims and ensure timely return of your used ATA Carnet document to boomerang carnets®. Each carnet user must determine the best system for managing and tracking their carnets and there are some useful tools which can be used for this purpose.

  • Online reports can be accessed using your log in credentials. The online reports provide issue and expiration dates in a simple report that is easy to access.
  • Online reports will also let you know when a carnet is closed and your liability has ended.
  • Boomerang carnets® send periodic email messages to carnet users reminding them to return used carnets. If you are finished using a carnet, returning it promptly reduces the chance of losing or misplacing the carnet. If you are not sure of the location of a carnet, the email messages can be a friendly reminder to check on its whereabouts.
